Is anyone besides me still watching Tool Academy? I was unsure about this season, but after Sunday night's episode, I have renewed my liking for the Academy. Thankfully, Jennavecia FINALLY went home. And her mom is a "madam"? I thought you arent really supposed to admit to that because it is a crime? Either way, Jennavecia is DISGUSTING and by the end of the episode I was wondering if her boyfriend was a little "slow" if you know what I mean. Who would stay with a girl like that? Gross.
I am confused about what is actually going on with the new Fresh Meat (RR/RW Challenge) because I think they are doing like some other competition on the side with Wes and Kenny? Either way, I do know that the new Fresh Meat Challenge starts sometime in April and I cannot wait!!
Is it STILL raining at your house like it is at mine? Perfect day to come home, snuggle on the couch, and turn on my DVR... next up after Kell on Earth? Jerseylicious. I just HAD to watch at least one episode!

Google and Wiki
I LOVE LOVE LOVE to google and wiki stuff if I dont know what it is, or if I want to know what something was, or if I want to remember something that I should already know, or even if I want to learn something new that I should have already learned. Google and Wikipedia search histories can tell so much about someone.
You can definitely tell what has consumed me lately by reading my recent google/wiki search history:
Boston apartments
How to afford boston apartments
Can I afford living in boston
cost of living calculator
ghetto apartments in boston
I'm doomed
That last search was quite hilarious and was searched after hours and hours of online and foot-searching was done only to wonder if it is even possible to afford ANYTHING...mice infested? Maybe... It is always sad when the only amenity listed on the places that we can afford is "De-leaded." WTF?! I dont even know what that means! Why would it have to be de-leaded? What is leaded???
(BTW, if you google "I'm Doomed" it basically pulls up all of this info about the computer game "Doom")
On a happier note, The Marriage Ref was hilarious this week so I was glad I watched. It featured a random camera shot of a couple's cat using the toilet by himself. Hilarious.
On a sad note, I have finally decided to let Gossip Girl go. Even Chace Crawford cant entice me to keep watching it each week. We had a good run, GG. I am so over it.

Ricardo and Isabella
I cant even put in to words how awesome Lost was this week. Everyone had always wanted to know how Richard came to be and now we know. So, it is safe to say that they arent LITERALLY talking about hell, right? That is just figurative. And actually, I feel like both Jacob and the man in the black are jerks who just manipulate everyone for their own gain. I dont know who to trust! Only 7 more episodes until the 2 hour finale...but I dont want to talk about that. I dont want to think about life without Lost right now. I had a dream about Jack the other night (it was ah-mazing!) and then just last night I dreamt that Charles Widmore died---in real life, as in, Caleb Nichol from The OC, the real actor. Or did that really happen? I dont even know. I guess I should google it.
Why did they not get rid of Mike on Biggest Loser???!!! The blue team had the perfect opportunity to pay him back for dividing the teams up like he did a few weeks ago (I now cannot STAND MIKE!!!). I love love love Sam and Koli, and I was so excited and literally jumped up and down in my living room when Koli won the 26.2 mile bike ride! Lance going home surprised me (because I thought for sure they would vote off Mike!), but Lance and his wife were getting on my nerves this week...by CHEATING and eating those cupcakes and giving like 10 of them to Sam! How unfair.

Weekend Watch
I finally caught up with this week's Gossip Girl. Why is Chace Crawford so amazing? Love him! All of those rich weird political people they bring in though, like Jenny's new friend the drug dealer, are forgetful.
Speaking of the Upper East side, that was the outfit that went home on Project Runway this week (they had to come up with clothing to represent certain NYC neighborhoods). And I thought they totally deserved to lose...nothing about that coral shirt said Upper East Side (and I totally know, because I watch Gossip Girl, hello?!). What is with the Goth twins? Like or not like? I cant decide...
I did watch Jessica Simpson's new The Price of Beauty show on VH1. Wow. She does somehow seem a LOT less annoying than she was on Newlyweds, though. But overall, the show is just lacking. Jessica fake-cries a few times, and it seems a little awkward. Good thing her hair dresser is there alongside her, though!
Dont you just feel bad for Jermika (LOVE that name) on Tool Academy. They are the only couple who is married, and her husband was really a tool. I feel like this week he knew he may go home, so he tried to fake it. It didnt work, because he went home, but I feel bad that she is staying with him because he seems disinterested. I dont really agree completely with the lady who supposedly reads body language. I mean, if I know someone is watching my every move, I act weird anyway so I may look guilty or suspicious when I am really not!
Like, have you ever been in a store and you think someone is watching you for shoplifting? But you really arent, and then you feel like you start looking suspicious? So you steal anyway? hahaha Just kidding, you dont steal. You just act weird because you know they are watching you closely. I hope that isnt just me...
Real Housewives of NYC (yes I snuck and watched...AJ is working nights this week...I have TIME to spare): Why is Bethenny such a butt this season? She really is acting DIVA, and I am sad that she and Jill arent friends right now, because I liked their balance. Jill and LuAnn are an unlikely duo. I do think that Kelly is just a fame-whore and needs to leave. I do love that her little girl's name is Teddy, though.
Thursday night TV rewind:
Do you like Brita on Community? Sometimes she annoys me, but other times, I like her.
The Office once again made me a teeny bit bored. I am glad that Andy and Erin finally got together. They have been so awkward around each other and its hilarious!
30 Rock this week was a goodie...and I love that she was going to see Hot Tub Time Machine. Is it lame that I sort of want to see that movie just to see how bad it actually is??
I normally love Celebrity Fit Club, but as Joel McHale pointed out on The Soup this week, only one word in that title is true: Club. Bobby Brown and K-Fed? Puh-lease. Even I will pass on that.
I have sort of been catching Celebrity Sober House...again, the first 2 words of that title are completely irrelevant. The people this season are just terrible and totally not sober yet. And now, "Shifty" is coming back?
One show that you should be watching for some laughs:
Sons of Tucson on FOX. One guy who is being paid by 3 boys to act like their Dad (their real Dad is in jail). It is pretty light-hearted and a good Sunday night addition.

My First Protest (well, we were there)
So yesterday we woke up and decided to head down to DC for the day. We just couldnt waste the wonderful weather (70s again! Yay!) staying in Delaware. We didnt realize that our plans would include the Health Care Protest going on at the Capital...but, I mean, its always fun to be a part of a protest, right?
I do have to say, there were lots of crazies around there...and chanting. Chanting is weird, right? Even if you agree with what people are chanting, its scary. The signs were worth a few good laughs, and we even saw a guy dressed as Captain America...he was running to the front of the crowd really fast so we never got a pic.
After that we basked in the sunshine and went to our favorite monument to sit and people watch. It was a great day. I felt SO American!

Friday
There are no gas stations around here that do "penny per ounce" of fountain drink on Fridays. Sad.
I have found a new giant gas station cookie here that gives the Get-n-Go in SD a run for their money.
There are now 4 ChickfilAs within 7 miles of my house (one opened up in the mall food court! Holler!).
There is no Sonic or Qdoba...or SO WE THOUGHT. We had given up on our beloved Qdoba Mexican Grill that we frequented at least once a week in Sioux Falls. Last weekend we drove up to Wilmington (YUCK) to go out with some friends. While trying to find a parking space, we drove down a really ghetto street (but, really, it is rare to find anywhere in Wilmington that ISNT in the ghetto). I was scared, until I looked to my left and saw it. A freaking QDOBA!!!!!!! We would have left our friends high and dry, but it was closed. So we now have plans to go back up there and eat to our hearts content.
SOUTHLAND is back...but now on TNT. I totally forgot to mention this show on Tuesday nights. Ryan from The OC is still on there, and it really is a good cop show. Guess who is also now on it? Sucre from Prison Break! hahaha Watch this show...its good.
DONT WATCH the new show Parenthood. I was really excited about this show because I used to LOVE the movie Parenthood with Steve Martin ("do you feel like you need to throw up?" "OKAY" blah!). I feel like the previews somehow led me to believe that this show was going to be sort of like the movie (SPOILER: it ISNT). It was bad. Like, Brothers and Sisters wannabe drama BAD. Not funny at all. Not even a comedy! Dont bother with this one.
What about The Marriage Ref? I watched the first episode, and then we remembered to DVR last night. The first episode was actually pretty entertaining. The lady who wouldnt let her husband use the dining room because it could only be used on Thanksgiving? That was hilarious! I need to watch another episode to see if it really is still funny, or if it was just funny to me because AJ was working a 24 hour shift when I watched it alone at home with no other adult contact...

CLUB NUB is Back
Why?
I missed it. Sort of. Mainly, I didnt realize how it connected me to my friends and family. It really is a good way to let people know what you have been up to without having to call them or email them daily!
So, here we are...a year later (almost), a new location, a new job, a new Club Nub.
What has changed?
*Well, I watch SIGNIFICANTLY less loads of TV. Granted, I still watch more than you (Dont hate!).
*I have now learned how to "let shows go" and stop watching them when they are really lame.
*I work part-time---which is awesome, btw.
*AJ is a full-fledged working doctor, saving lives every day. Seriously, he shocks peoples hearts and pronounces people dead and stuff. But not for long...he is almost done with intern year and then he will be spending 100% of his time doing radiology (which also means no more shocking hearts or talking to patients).
Not much else is different. We are still awesome.
Examples of shows that have been "let go" from my viewership:
One Tree Hill
Celebrity Fit Club
24 (see explanation on Monday night post below)
Secret Life of the American Teen
Chuck (again, see Monday night post)
Grey's Anatomy (yall know I already loathed this show)
Private Practice
There are probably more that I just cant remember at the moment.
I am not sure exactly what I will post about besides my usual TV obsessions, but before I fully committed myself by clicking on "PUBLISH POST", I felt the need to do a little weekly run down of what we have been watching the last few months. So, please, take your time and read the posts below. Then we will start all over...
