Tribute to TC

TC has been with us a very long time. AJs parents purchased TC brand spanking new in 1994, and then graciously sold it to AJ for $3000 in 2001. What a deal, because that car has lasted like no other...and is still going strong!

TC got her name from her make and model, nothing fancy...Toyota Camry= TC.

I would like to list a few facts about TC in her memory:
-TC has 206,000 miles
-After we got married, we decided that we would just expect TC to last AJs first 2 years of medical school, and if it got us that far, itd be awesome...she lasted many more years and trips across the country.
-TC made her big screen debut a few years back in Provo while they were taping the new LDS version of "Pride and Prejudice." When they are in the park on Center Street in Provo, TC drives by in the background. It is awesome. (AJ and I were in the car too)
-TC has driven through nearly all of the United States, and driven through most (if not all) of the major cities here. After talking it over, we realized the only states she hasnt been to are: Hawaii, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Mississippi. And, really, what are you missing by NOT travelling to those states?
-TC hit and killed a deer once, but came out with only minor headlight damage.
-TC has been taped on many (3, to be exact) stoplight cameras, and the photo (with accompanying ticket with AJs name on it) have been mailed to us. TC is very photogenic.
-TC is a survivor. Most recently, she sat all night in downtown Washington, DC with her window down and resisted ANY break in or theft!!!! A miracle!

So, last night we sold TC (for a VERY great deal, BTW) to a lady who doesnt even know how to drive a stick shift! Her husband barely knew, but he vowed to learn and then teach her. We really hope she is OK and will be as good of a car to them as she was to us!

We miss you, TC!
